“I’m glad to have this experience in Malawi in my life, sharing my medical expertise with locals and treating patients as best as I can despite limited medical supplies,” said Yue Hua, an obstetrician from Genertec Universal Medical, who had worked in a Chinese medical aid team dispatched to the African country for over a year.
Genertec will make full use of its medical facilities and expand health cooperation with global partners, said Lu Yimin, general manager of Genertec and also a member of the BRICS Business Council, at the BRICS Business Forum on June 22. Thus far, Genertec has offered a substantial number of medical materials and equipment to nearly 100 countries and international organizations in the fight against the pandemic.
Three doctors from Genertec Medical were part of the 37th medical team from Northwest China’s Shaanxi province dispatched to Sudan in Africa. They headed for their destination in the middle of May. The team will provide medical services in three hospitals around the country’s capital Khartoum for 18 months, bringing health and friendship for local residents. Way to go and all the best!
We’re taking actions to combat desertification and drought. Genertec Xinxing is the EPC contractor to build an ecological corridor along the Yellow River in Lankao county of Central China’s Henan province. Focusing on ecological protection in the Yellow River basin, the project includes planning, construction and rehabilitation of green spaces and building eco-friendly public amenities along the river. When completed, it is expected to effectively curb desertification, droughts and floods and boost economic sustainability in the area.
The Southern Sri Lanka Railway, Genertec CMC’s EPC project, is the country’s first eco-friendly railway. The railway was a green construction perfectly integrating itself into local landscape, with great efforts to preserve the pastures, villages and other spots along the route. The concept ensures sustainable and equitable use of resources for environmental protection. As an important Belt and Road project, it increases the cooperation between China and Sri Lanka and brings both economic and environmental benefits to local areas.
The Algeria 25 MW PV Power Plant, built by EPC contractor Genertec CNTIC, is the first commercial PV power plant in the country. The project makes good use of the abundant solar energy resources in the Sahara Desert while protecting the local environment to ensure green production. It helps upgrade the regional power grid and energy supply & consumption in Algeria, setting the momentum for renewable development in Africa.
